Juliann is a Vice President with Kantar Retail. She has twelve years of experience working for consumer packaged goods and pharmaceutical companies. She specializes in designing, analyzing and helping executive management make strategic decisions based on primary consumer and shopper insights.
Juliann is responsible for directing consumer research projects focused on brand and market positioning, new product and service development from ideation to commercialization, product/service improvements (e.g., graphics and packaging), brand/product distribution options, promotions tracking, consumer segmentation, and shopper insights.
Juliann has held past leadership roles managing research for a broad array of products and categories. Prior to joining Retail Forward, Juliann was the Senior Manager of Consumer Insights at Ross Products, Division of Abbott Laboratories—responsible for food and beverage brands such as: Similac, Isomil, PediaSure, Pedialyte and others. Prior to Ross Products, Juliann led innovation research at Newell Rubbermaid. She previously spent five years at American Greetings—the largest greeting card company in the world—managing the consumer research department for all products, services and categories.
Juliann holds a master’s degree from Cleveland State University, specializing in Consumer Behavior, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron in Psychology. She has been an active member of the American Marketing Association for several years.
