Sandy is a Senior Vice President with Kantar Retail and manages the Retail Forward Intelligence System™ Food/Drug/Mass Program as well as the Wal-Mart World™ and Target programs, which systematically analyzes and forecasts retail and shopper trends and developments related to the distribution of groceries, health and beauty care products and other fast-moving consumer goods. Sandy has more than 20 years of research and consulting experience with retailers and consumer products companies specializing in industry and competitor research and analysis, marketing opportunity analysis and channel strategies.
Sandy is a regular contributor to the Retail Forward Intelligence System™. She manages the development of Industry Outlooks, Shopper Updates and Retail Perspectives covering the food, drug, mass, club, dollar and convenience store channels, providing perspectives on industry and shopper trends, change drivers, and implications for retailers and suppliers of consumer goods. Sandy also oversees the development of research publications for the Wal-Mart World™ and Target programs, which deliver informed insights and perspectives on these retailers’ activities and implications for competitors and suppliers.
Sandy is frequently quoted in the retail and business trade press. Her work also has appeared in such trade publications as Supermarket News, Progressive Grocer, Drug Store News, NACS Magazine, GMA Forum, Grocery Headquarters and The Food Institute Report.
Sandy joined the Management Horizons Division of Price Waterhouse in 1985 and served as a Principal Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers until the formation of Retail Forward in 2001. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in Business Administration in Marketing and holds an MBA from Kent State University.
